FRIB Theory Users Group
Welcome
Welcome to the FRIB Theory Users Group, now incorporated within the
FRIB Users Organization.
The primary purpose of this Group is to organize the nuclear theory community
interested in FRIB physics to:
* Identify and prioritize the most important physics to be addressed at FRIB,
and to support FRIB’s experimental program.
* Act as a forum and a voice for the nuclear structure/reactions,
nuclear astrophysics, and fundamental symmetries theory community
as it works to enhance the nuclear theory effort in the US.
* Partner with the FRIB Users Organization and the
FRIB Users Organization Executive Committee to promote FRIB science.

FRIB User Organization Executive Committees
As a consequence of the merger of the FRIB Theory Users Group, the FRIB Users Organization Executive Committee will henceforth have at least one theory member. In the latest election of the Committee in December 2011, Ian Thompson [LLNL] was elected into this slot, and will serve a three year term that began on January 1, 2012.
